The term “weak hands” is used in the crypto space to refer to an investor who chooses to sell their investments when there is a substantial dip in the market, taking a loss.

This is generally considered to be a poor investment strategy as long-term investors tend to believe that the value of their cryptocurrency portfolios will rise above their initial value.
